KART provides public transit service every Monday thru Friday and limited service on Saturdays. Please refer to Route Maps for specific timepoints.


KART provides services within the Downtown areas of Hanford and Lemoore and regular route service between Hanford and the cities and communities of Armona, Avenal, Corcoran, Fresno, Grangeville, Hardwick, Kettleman City, Laton, Lemoore, Stratford, and Visalia.


KART offers low fares to everyone, but special discounts are offered as follows:

Children:
Children age 6 or under may ride free with an adult.

Senior:
Seniors age 60 and over qualify for discounted fares. Please call the Commission on Aging at 582-3211 #2828 for more information.


Half price fare on regular fixed routes only is available for eligible seniors 60 and over and ADA or Disabled ID Card and Medicare Card holders Monday thru Friday 9 am. to 3 pm. and 7 pm. to 11 pm. and all day Saturday. Discount does not apply to
Dial-A-Ride Service.


Designated pick-up points have been established along all routes to be easily accessible and safe for stops. Please refer to the Downtown Route Maps for these designated stops and time points. If you need assistance in locating the pick-up point nearest you, call KART Dispatch at 584-0101.

General Information

Conduct:
To keep the bus ride enjoyable for all of our riders, smoking, loud music, abusive or inappropriate language or inappropriate behavior is not permitted.

Food & Drinks:
To keep our buses clean, food and drinks are not allowed on the bus.

Senior & Disabled Seating:
As a courtesy to senior citizens and riders who have disabilities, please save seats near the front of the bus for their use.

Carry-On Items:
Limit carry-ons to the size and number you can easily handle. Limit 4 packages up to 25 lbs. each. No flammable or hazardous items.

Lost & Found:
If you lose something on the bus, call us at 584-0101. Tell us the date and time you lost the item, the route (or Dial-A-Ride) and a complete description of the article. Be sure to give us a call if you find something, too.

Animals:
Persons with disabilities may be accompanied by a recognized service animal.

Holidays:
KART does not operate on New Year's Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas. KART operates on Saturday service hours on Martin Luther King Day, the day after Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve Day and New Year's Eve Day.
